Are You Sure?
27th - 31st of May 2025
Have you ever stood in front of a big decision? Have you ever found yourself incapable of making said decision, afraid to regret it?
Then, this is the show for you!
The Indecisive is an anxious mathematician faced with a difficult choice. Their very reasonable response is to write a monologue and ask the audience for help. But nothing seems to be going as it should be. When they arrive, the stage is already occupied by three mysterious figures. Copy 1 & 2 do nothing but interrupt their monologue and play with an excessively long rope, measuring tape and scissors. Copy 3 keeps asking “are you sure?” So The Indecisive starts improvising. They talk about growing up, father & child relationships, and mathematics. They wonder about Zeno’s paradoxes: the one stating movement is impossible. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking. Will they be able to make a choice? Or will they remain stuck?
113
6th - 10th of May
49 and 64 are in the room. They cannot see each other but they can talk and pass notes. All they have is questions, wedding veils and dog tags. Who are they? Where are they? What is going on? And why? And who is J Doe? And why are they watching them? 113 focuses in on the ideas of identity and memory. It asks if memory is what makes our identity, and if we were able to see ourselves objectively, could we change?
The Getaway
25th of February - 1st of March 2025
Four twenty-somethings. One remote cottage. A weekend meant for escape - until love unravels, betrayals surface and new desires ignite.
Linda and Alec’s long-term relationship is crumbling, while Abbey and Jamie find themselves drawn to each other in the chaos. In the suffering intimacy of the getaway, secrets spill, old wounds resurface, friendships fracture and the past refuses to stay buried. As passion and control collide, tensions reach a breaking point.
In this captivating piece of new writing by Denisa Dobrovodova, there is nowhere to hide, as emotions spiral and the weekend getaway turns into a battleground of passion, jealously, and revelation. Some relationships will shatter, others will form - but by the end of the weekend, nothing will ever be the same.
